WIG WAM Begin Recording New Album

Norwegian rockers WIG WAM — winners of the 2005 Norwegian Eurovision song contest — have entered the studio to record the follow-up to last year's "Hard to be a Rock'n Roller" album. Entiteld "Wig Wamania", the new CD is scheduled for release on March 13 in Norway (release dates for other countries have yet to be confirmed). The first single off the new album is a new "rock schläger," entitled "Gonna Get You Someday" and will be released on March 6, according to a press release. The band will also be seen in a new Norwegian movie called "Lange Flate Baller" ("Long Flat Balls"),which will premiere in cinemas late March.

"Hard to be a Rock'n Roller" was released in Germany, Switzerland and Austria in November via Napalm Records. The release of the album coincided with the band's German support tour with GOTTHARD.
